Romania’s flag carrier has signed an order for three more ATR 72-600, which will bring the total fleet to seven aircraft.

“Having been an ATR pilot, I have witnessed first-hand, the importance of the connectivity that they provide. They are an essential link to communities all over Romania. As a CEO, I also see the value of their efficiency and flexibility,” said TAROM Chief Executive Officer Catalin Prunariu.

TAROM also has four ATR 42-500 configured with 48 seats and which must give up some routes for the higher capacity version.

Binter will have 23 ATR in its fleet

In addition to the ATR, Binter has five Embraer E195-E2 jets, the manufacturer’s largest model.
