Airbus to exhibit three A350s at Dubai Airshow

Planemaker will also display single-aisle jets and widebodies from African and UAE airlines

Airbus will not take any newly launched aircraft to the Dubai Airshow, the first major aerospace exhibition to be held after the start of the pandemic. However, the planemaker will have a very significant presence at the event that will start on the 14th.

The company confirmed on Monday which aircraft will be exhibited at the air show. The A350 jetliner will be its main attraction, with three aircraft of the type at the event. On static display will be the A350-900 MSN 2 (Airspace Explorer), an Ethiopian Airlines A350-900 and an Etihad Airways A350-1000.

The A330neo will be represented by one of the Uganda Airlines planes. The biggest customer of the A380, Emirates will exhibit one of its planes, according to Airbus.

Among the single-aisle jets confirmed are the A321LR (Long Range) from Air Arabia and WizzAir and an A220 from AirBaltic. An ACJ302neo corporate model from Acropolis Aviation completes the list.
